Muscat:  His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a phone call from Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.

During the call, the two leaders discussed the latest developments in the region and their security and economic implications for countries and their peoples.

They stressed the importance of strengthening international efforts to safeguard maritime navigation security and to resolve conflicts through diplomatic means, in accordance with the principles of international law, in a way that ensures regional and global stability.
